About Us

The United Tribal Development Project is established by some local tribal educated unemployed leaders and cultivators of Chandel District, Manipur to work collectively by rendering selfless services for the social and economic upliftment of the poor and disadvantaged group of tribal people in Chandel District, Manipur.

United Tribal Development Project is a non-governmental organization established in 1983. The registration number of the organization is 4671. UTDP registered under 12A, 80G, FCRA.  The organization is operational in Manipur, India. UTDP works in the area of Advocacy and Research, Aged and elderly, Animal Husbandry, Dairying & Fisheries, Animal Welfare, Art & Culture, Biotechnology, Children, Civic Issues, Disaster Management, Education & Literacy, Environment and natural resource management, Food and Agriculture, Health & Nutrition, HIV/AIDS, Housing and shelter, Human Rights, Land Resources, Legal Awareness & Aid, Micro Finance (SHGs), Micro Small & Medium Enterprises, Minority Issues, New & Renewable Energy, Right to Information & Advocacy, Rural Development & Poverty Alleviation, etc. The NGO works towards the promotion of sustainable development.

Our Goal

Community people are empowered & lake their own development decision with the active participation of Men & Women.

More community base organizations/ Institution are innovated in the Community's Development Programme.

Community's Land and resources are preserved & Utilized with this own skill and knowledge.

Ethonic Communities live in peaceful coexistence.
