UTDP realized that under erratic climatic change situation there is need to change the mindset of the community people about their food crops. UTDP opted wheat to follow rice just after the harvest of later rice to fill the gape with food crops UTDP had initiated wheat cultivation for the last 3 years as tired and demonstration programme with the progressive farmers and individual of partner Village in collaboration with KVKICAR — Chandel. And it is found that wheat cultivation is successful in Chandel District.
