World environment day the 5th June, 2016 was organized jointly by UTDP and the chothe Tribe Union [CLAM] on the theme ” Connecting people to nature”. On this day District Forest officers Ms. Gaidinliu — IFS was invited as the chief guest. Other community leaders, Tribe union, Women apex bodies, and the Church participated on this one-day observation on the environment. In her speech, she cautioned about the impending danger of our surrounding due to human activities. She said that global warming & Climate change is increasing with human induce development Project & Scheme. She also stated that we cannot stop climate change but we can adopt climate change  our nature of works, habits & actions & stressed on the need to develop village micro plan identify reserve land agriculture land Homestead grazing field convergence with Horti., Agri., Forest & Fishery Develop Botanical garden.
